I began my career as a computer science engineer and then brought those computational skills to my neuroscience research. As an ever-curious scientist, I have more than a decade of cross-cultural experiences working on three continents and in large, global, mission-driven teams in the non-profit sector. I explore complex systems and have a deep appreciation for how diversity makes them thrive. Whether working with brains, ecosystems, or organizations, I start from the bottom with small processes that compound into big impacts. I love gardening, permaculture, board games, puzzles, binge-watching, learning new languages, and running.
